a group of us went to the marian home today...we put some food items and other stuff together and brought it over...we told Mrs. J.A. we wanted to walk but awa she eh hearing...she wanna take the bus from town even if she had to pay for all 8 of us...the driver didnt know where to go...he ended up going all the way to the adelaide home and had to go back...I'm like WTF..haha...you drive that route everyday n u eh know where the marian home is...We went there in form 1 so we knew what we were talking about..then the lady is like...oh we could have walked...but hey being so stubborn so o well...Mr. G came to drop off his contribution and moved out...Well we spent like 1 1/2 hours there...singing carols, laughing and talking with them.. I could see that they really loved our company...sometimes they just want people to listen...and some of them are as fiesty as ever!!..KC was playing destra for one of them if u c the lady move!!!...mind u she has bad knees eh...but she eh hearing..I say that lady was hott in her youth...I heard one called another one a bitch...Another freaked MJ out cause she said she wont have a merry christmas because she's going to die...wow..talk about a WTF OMG moment..But I wanna go back there...it's not something that we should do only during the holiday season.." the season of giving"...but something from time to time...It also made realize that I'm gonna get like some day ..OLD..provided that I don't die young...Scary thoughts...but it was great time spent...

BOY O BOY...lucians say they eh have money but they flooding the streets of castries..you'll c vf on christmas eve...haha...the vacation is a kinna boring n vag..but trying 2 do what I can with it...dunno what the rest of it will bring...still thinking of what might have been this past weekend...my bro messed up his finger..so he's kinna wounded..fallen soldier...haha..with his bandage n ting!!..so dats all..boredom again so I cam here....

Post Exam Lime

So some of my girlfriends and I decided to take a little lime on Saturday night..sort of like a post exam destress vibe..yeah...well most people went to indies to "College Hill. Semester 1. You miss school. You miss out"...Since we did not go I guess we missed out huh?.. So meeting place: Dominos..then off to Delirius...but we were not as lucky as the last time...no free drinks..shucks man!!...then we decided to go to the Triangle..there wuz some karoke going on there..finally B chose a song but then someone mentioned that Pulse had a ladies free before midnight...so being lucians we decided to head there..mind u it wuz like 11:25 p.m. But considering that most of us were wearing heels...it was a good head start no?..So we got there...got stamped...it looked soo cool under the blue light thingy man!!..I saw one of our senators there...I wuz like ok then...one ting Pulse eh attracting no kinna jombie crowd..that's for sure!!..

Sadly so our numbers dwindled from like 13 to 6 or sum so...But we had a great time!!..We decided to head over to indies...En route...I decided to remove my heels..to much of a hassle to walk...much more comfortable barefoot!!....Yeah like the song goes "I'M SO SEXY IN MY HEELS!!"..but uh that distance we had to walk deh...nope!!..Then B pulled out her camera to take a pic of me in the middle of the road holding my heels!!...So I walked all the way to the highway but then put them back on. Outside indies B n K met this mexican guy who looked sorta asian...he thought we were prostitutes !!..asking if we work @ night...oh he's gonna pay for both B & K to enter the fete..but B wuz really freaked out..thank goodness we got rid of him!!...funny shit....so I fetched us a ride back to Pulse..Thank God!!..I don't think anyone fancied walking all the way back there in their sexy shoes.

Back there..saw some vf compre teachers there & later on a minister dancing WITH HIMSELF in the wee hours of the morning. The music was great...nice ambience..Some BOS employees just descended upon the place...Coming from their staff party n ting..lookin all elegant n shit...good 4 them..Here I am thinking...no one will know me there but awa..2 fellas ambushed me self self...askin me 2 dance..all how I try 2 evade them....but i succeeded....more or less..lol..then my tag for the nite left me ALONE at Pulse to go on a vibe..while I was kept company by the generous young man who wuz going to give us a ride back home...someone I knew from school but never talked to b4...well we got acquainted eh...until it wuz time 2 go n my girl wasn't back yet...so I had 2 b blowing up her cell like madd...so she cud get bak...cuz the guy wuz getting impatient and I cudn't leave without her..then her bf is calling my phone n i eh no wut 2 tell him...Boy I hate these situations that I find myself in!!...All in all it was another awesome night...wonder when the next one will be ...

On our way home I saw a man doing some jogging..I wuz like mate mad running so late in the night...when I chek myself I realized that we were the mad ones returning home @ 5 a.m. in the morning!!....lmao

haha...I jus typed a whole story there...sideeffects of boredom!!!

Update

So wuts up with me??...Exams are OVERRRRRR!!!!...No more pumping my brains with information..yeah..Hmm I'm so afraid to see my grades next semester cause I spent more time sleeping then studying:(...nun I can do about that anyway...So my vacation started as of 2:30 p.m. yesterday..Don't know what this christmas vacation will bring me...Just waiting.......

I'm not really this Christmas spirit..Haven't been for some time now...So mah sav...I'm just hoping to have some fun, sleep a lot & start studying for Cambridge..considering that I had to pay $876 in exam fees. So some people have come and are going to come down for the xmas..I hope to see everyone one place or another however brief it may be!!

Relationships In Our Society

Before I commence I must state that this entry is not being made to bash or criticize the present government in any way. Since I know that some individuals who may read this blog are opposed to the current administration.

Anyway our p.m. tied on the knot on saturday!!!..woohoo rite?!?!...not really..News about the p.m. nuptials began circulating the airwaves from last week Thursday. This sparked some discussion in my G.P. class the next day. The man has known this lady for nearly 20 years and he doesn't see it fit to make an honest woman of her and marry her?!?!...You're living with someone for so long in what we officially call a "common-law union"..can't you just make it official and marry her..what would be big difference? From what I've read, heard and seen..she has a stable career, takes care of herself so what was the problem. Also when she had to travel with the p.m., what did he introduce her as?..his girlfriend? his jabal? his friend? his partner?...As the prime minister of a country isn't that just a bit embarrasing?...It is rumored that it posed a problem in St. Lucia when she had to be seated at the opening ceremony of the conference. The head honchoes specifically catered to seating for the wives of the heads of delegation so therefore what did she fit??..Thank God they are married now..so this tiny embarrasment has been eliminated. Our dear p.m. isn't the first to get married while in office...so did the leader of the opposition. Also, there are other prominent politicians who also do deem it necessary to marry the women with whom they have been leaving for years and years.

Here comes the true reason for my entry...the adults of this St.Lucian are very hypocritical. They engage in fornication, procreate and have a jolly good time without getting married. Yet when the youth emulate their habits, they are quick to chastise and criticize them. Do they expect any less when they haven't been good examples themselves? They have taught us that is ok to to live together 5,10,15 even 20 years without getting married.. So when we wanna start dating and have a steady boyfriend, even go live with him. Why do yall have problem?!..That is what I wanna know. Even more so, some of these elders are frequent church goers and believe that they are saved but don't these activities go completely against the the teachings of the bible? Embarrasingly I'm not familiar with the bible but I know that that particular tidbit is somewhere in there. No I'm not being all self righteous and shit. No, I'm not gonna condemn people because they living with and having sex with their boyfriend or man or whatever. Hell I don't even know what I believe anymore. I'm so disillusioned and fed up with the hypocrisy in this life...even when I myself exhibit it. Yes we don't wanna be tied down by marriage but my goodness if you're spend so many damn years with someone don't you think you should try to be on the straight and narrow as best as you can?..Don't tell me that a man is living with a woman for nearly 25 years and has children with her. After so much time, you know why he wants to marry her? because his eldest daughter has started dating and it would be quite hypocritical if he starts dishing out advice. Don't you think so too?

Yeah so I think I'm done..I should be studying Spanish literature and preparing my Spanish orals on "the evolution of the conception of homosexuality in Spain"..another controversial topic which I may blog about later on. but here I am procrastinating yet again...but this is a lil of the stuff which have been on my mind...you read all this?!?!..bravo..lol..until later

long long overdue update

hey there blog!! it's been a long time since I've written to you!!

so last time I wrote in here was after that common wealth conference...about 5 weeks now??...yuh
so let's see what's been going on since then. Well my pc bombed again..choops...video card went bad...so we were out of commission for 2 weeks...another mawez

then some of us @ skool began reviving a modern language club and had a kweyol extravaganza the friday before jounen kweyol...turned out really well...made some serious money too!!...It was really great to the see the madras on pockets, as waistbands, headbands, earrings, ties...o and the corsages...we're just cool like that!!!

Then ofcourse there was the obama election..which i stayed up till 2 to watch..wish I could stay up so late to study...that would be great!!!..evryone was so psyched about it...@ school the next day..that's all people could talk about..lecturers, boys, girls...."SI SE PUEDE!!"..."YES WE CAN"...AND WE DID!!!

Then Lily our kitten died...:(:(..she got knocked by a vehicle..she wuz soo cute kinna gingerish colour...sooo sadd

O Yeh Me and my language sisters had an awesome ladies night out!!!...2 celebrate B.M.A. 's 19th bday...we hit delirious then pulse....that was soooo coool..great fun!!...my first time clubbin...definitely a wonderful experience...from gettin free drinks to enterin the club for free...don't get no better man!!!

Lately, I've been pretty disillusioned with life and almsot everyone and everything in it...been having some pretty radical,cynical, pessimistic thoughts..I need a vacation man...exams are next week and I am no where close to where I want to be in my studying...my body is sooo tired...I know that's it's pointless to complain but......I STILL WANT TO!!

this entry may seem a bit sketchy and all over the place but it's what I've been up 2 in a nutshell...
I'm home today bcuz due to the absence of 2 of my lecturers my first class is @ 3:00 p.m. 2day...n i eh leavin vf to go 2 SALCC for a subject @ 3 which i hate...sociology!!..hell no man...+ it's rainin even better....so i might catch up on sum sleep...try 2 study...whatevercomes...so i'm outta here will update later

Last Week....

so yeah last week I missed like 3 days of school!!!...yay!!...and I'm soooooooooo missing it!!

A couple of my language sisters and myself volunteered as liason officers for the commonwealth finance ministers' meeting which was held at Sandals Grande..We each were assigned the heads of delegations for different countries in the commonwealth. I got Cyprus, and well my girls got St. Kitts, Mozambique, Ghana, Guyana...just to name a few...

Our job entailed picking up our delegates at their respective hotels and taking them to the meeting at Sandals Grande which started at 9:00 a.m. from Monday October 6th- Wednesday October 8th...Mine was staying at the Almond Morgan Bay..Other hotels included Coco Palm, The Landing, Bay Gardens, Royal St.Lucian and Sandals Grande itself..

We were assigned our own drivers with some AWESOME rides. They had to pick us up at home and take us to meet our delegates. That was a lot of responsibilty.. I reveled in it!!...So anyway my delegate just arrived in St. Lucia on the Saturday since he hadn't sent any itinerary to the ministry of external affairs and I had to go look for him on the Sunday..I met him totally by accident outside the hotel lobby..apparently he had already registered for his ID card and stuff so that made my job so much easier!!!...He wanted to go sightseeing with his wife...I was like WHOA....mind you I was in a suit and wedges..I was like O SHIT!!..so I climbed all the way up to the monument at pigeon point in those shoes...then to Place Kassav...(the cassava bread there is soooo DELICIOUS!!)..then to Soufriere at the diamonds falls then the sulphur springs..my feet were killing me man!! Finally the driver recommended the hummingbird beach resort for lunch the grilled tuna there was out of this world!!!

Then back to Castries...my delegate lost his luggage and well American Airlines did not send it to him and he was quite distraught and annoyed and agitated...he got his luggage eventually...like the Monday afternoon...well I find I fared well under all his pressure..I did my best to calm him down...Sunday night there was a cocktail at Royal St. Lucian, Monday night the opening ceremony cocktail where we, the liason officers got to mingle with all the delegates and my favorite: the cocktail at Bay Gardens..the shrimp, n fish was out of this world!!!!..it hurt my heart when my delegate was ready to leave...*SIGH*

I miss the police escorts where the vehicles had to stay near the side of the road and had to allow us to pass and we got to escape that awful traffic....also the official plates...mine was "OFFICIAL 50" that was sooo coooooool man!!...And all of us chilled @ the pub in Sandals Grande whilst the meeting was going on...kixxin off to pass the time...my delegate left the same Wednesday that the meeting was ending...I was happy that the hard work and all the walking up and down was ending but I miss the whole vibe!!..it was all in all an awesome experience..lots of laughs..some girls were asked to elope and to move to the respective countries...hilarious shit!!!..and some of us got some serious tips 2!!..DINERO BABY!!..so we did in a sense get paid...how kool is that!!....now it's a new week and I'm still in the same shit..ton of assignments....I miss last week when I really didn't have a care in the world and school was a distant, distant memory.

World's shortest man, leggiest woman meet

He Pingping, of China, was born with a type of dwarfism. He, 20, stands precisely 2 feet 5.37 inches tall.

The pair met to publicize the release of "Guinness World Records 2009." This year's version of the popular book is due out Wednesday.

He called Svetlana Pankratova's legs "very beautiful."

Pankratova, 36, who is Russian but lives in Spain, has legs that are nearly 52 inches long, or more than 4 feet long. Her upper body has nearly typical proportions, giving her a giraffe-like appearance.

Just passing through, so yeah today @ school wuz quite productive..better than last monday when I missed my spanish lang class to show the incoming year ones around the school...*sigh* the stuff ppl do 2 get outta class...

so they raised busfares today!!...to get from vieux-fort to castries is now $8!!!...increases depends on length of route from 25 cents to a $1...so I go from paying $15.50 daily to paying 17.7 5 daily beautiful huh?!?!..when I calculate that for the month I shudder to think!!..I hope by the time busfares go up to $10 from vf- castries...I wud have stopped travelling or gotten my own ride by then!!

I sooo need a job...or something!!...cost of living is getting pretty crazy in st. lucia...although people can still afford to be frivolous and wasteful..so tings eh bad...YET..

Gossip Girl wuz the shit yet again...the ONLY reason that I look forward to mondays!!

Mini Update

it's been 3 weeks since I've posted here...3 weeks I've been in this hell called school....*sigh*...It's like the end of vacation= the end of blogging...but i'll try 2 update often so that it won't end up like my livejournal account where I think I went like 2 months without updating....yeah:S:S

School is okay I guess... my bro started school @ SALCC last week so I guess I've got some company now in a sense..:):)..the work is coming on pretty strong and I keep on procrastinating...I know what I have 2 do...not procrastinate and not get distracted by ANYTHING AT ALL...but its putting that resolution into action that'll b the difficult part...

All that other stuff about my life...I will check on later;)

I've realized that young people are the way they are because of the "exemplary" examples that the adults in their life have set for them...they say the youth nowadays but they need 2 take a long hard look at themselves and realize where true problem lies..(will expound later)

BTW..the first 2 episodes of Gossip Girl have been SOOOOOOO AWESOME!!! SOOO FREAKING AMAZING!!..I can't wait for tomorrow 8 p.m. sharp!!...XOXO.. :D:D

End of Vacation

so it's sunday and I start skool 2morro!!!...:(:(..I've changed my mind I don't wanna go back!!...I thought I did thought I wuz tire of the house but....the work .....the endless work....did I mention the work???....I aint ready for it 2 resume

as I think back, I really have NO idea where my vacation went to...I didn't do anything much....It wuz a disappointing one....nuthin seemed 2 go right...yeh very ruff...but now I can say it wasn't a complete and total disaster.....I just remember alot of days watchin ESPN....nuff sports...starting with Euro 2008, lots of tennis and then olympics....I'm gonna miss those days of doing more or less NOTHING....back 2 to the extra early mornings, tryin 2 get a bus 2 get 2 skool2 get 2 class..............:(:(....*sigh*...

It will be nice to c everyone again well those who didn't go off to study but still..the work....the pressure...and plus my timetable stayed more or less the same...so I still have 2 leave dat ole school @ 4:00/4:30 p.m. everyday...so vex about that!!..but dat's dat...gotta deal with it and move on but oh how time flys!!

This week wuz pretty cooool...after the disappointing summer I had it wuz great to have my last 2 weeks be pretty good!!

Tuesday my bro finally went to the beach with me to look for sea grapes..:)...we walked from pierrot to sandy beach..sumthing alot of people think is crazeee but good exercise....it's sumthing that we do like 3 times a week during da summer but we only did it once this year:(:(...the scenery wuz sooo beautiful...st. lucia: simply beautiful.. chilled with D during the afternoon...dat wuz really great since i hadn't seen her in like 3 months....

Wednesday wuz registration...same ole gruelling, tedious task as year one even more so this year since i came mid morning...but i got this splendid surprise when i got 2 town...the lady remembered and made me the crochet bag..I thought since she din hear from me...she just left dat...hadn't been this excited in a while!!....Got a D in AS Socio...I dunno how or why but.....I guess I'll have 2 write it over .....exactly wut I DIDN'T want to do...I hate that subject sooooooooo much eh..

Friday I went to the beach all by myself..chilled, bathed and went home.. a bit crazy for some people but I'm perfectly sane:):)....CXC RESULTS ARE OUT!!...my bro wuz sooo nervous...dunno why though...we knew he wud do well..I swear that boy is a genius!!...and all I do is get good grades for him to beat the following year..but it's all goood

Saw D last nite again.....last time till december....she left 2day I'm gonna miss her....people are leaving to go to school and ting...*sigh*

Finally Rafael Nadal has reached number 1!!! & ended Roger Federer's 41/2 year reign...finally the pundits, the experts and all those other non believers can take take him seriously!!..I'm soo ecstatic for him....and soo proud...although I'm really bummed that he has a gf and is finally parading her around..The day I saw that chik in his box...my heart broke...:(:(..but that's life I guess.... Anyways... The Spaniard has won an ATP-best eight titles and a 70-8 season record. He captured a gold medal at the Beijing Olympics (d. Gonzalez) on Sunday, which represented his 31st career title. He secured his 12th ATP Masters Series shield at the Rogers Cup in Toronto late last month. In July, the 22-year-old became the first man since Bjorn Borg in 1980 to win the Roland Garros and Wimbledon double after dethroning five-time champion Federer in a five-set epic at the All England Club. It's been a long time coming....after sitting 2 wimbledon losses in 2006 and 2007...he won in 2008 and consolidated that beating he gave roger federer at roland garros...and winning that olympic gold just put the icing, sprinkles on the cakee... Golden Boy Nadal Takes Olympic Glory; Silver For Gonzalez

Mallorca native Nadal, who has been ranked World No. 2 for 160 weeks, will end Roger Federer’s 237 week reign at the top of the South African Airways ATP Rankings on Monday courtesy of an outstanding season that has seen him now win eight titles. The 22-year-old Spaniard captured titles at Masters Series Monte-Carlo (d. Federer) and Barcelona (d. Ferrer), before embarking on a 32-match winning streak that included Masters Series titles at Hamburg (d. Federer) and Toronto (d. Kiefer), his first grass court title at Queen’s Club (d. Djokovic), his fourth successive Roland Garros title (d. Federer) and a remarkable five-set victory at Wimbledon over Federer. Making his Olympic Games singles debut, Nadal becomes the highest-ranked player to win an Olympic men’s singles titles, taking over from Andre Agassi who was ranked No. 6 when he won in Atlanta 1996. The left-hander was largely in control throughout the gold medal match and stamped his authority early on, breaking the 28-year-old Gonzalez in his opening service game to establish a 3-0 lead. The Chilean saved a set point when serving at 2-5, but Nadal quickly closed out the set on serve with a forehand winner 6-3. World No. 15 Gonzalez came close to leveling the match at one-set all, but squandered two set points with Nadal serving at 5-6, 15-40 and the Spaniard capitalized on Gonzalez’s disappointment to seal the tie-break with a convincing 7-2 score line, as Gonzalez’s explosive forehand landed wide on set point. La Reina resident Gonzalez survived early break points in the third set, but Nadal earned a breakthrough in the fourth game with a pin-point accurate backhand pass to lead 3-1. Gonzalez continued to fight and had chances to break the Nadal serve at 5-2, before also saving three match points serving at 3-5. However, the right-hander’s resistance could not continue and Nadal showed no nerves in serving out the gold medal match, finishing with a flourish as a big forehand forced a reply into the net from Gonzalez. I'm sooo proud of him!!!...I love him sooooo much!!....LOL...He's the best tennis player for me...don't care what anyone else says..Now these are the things that give me pleasure!!

so yes I'm here already!!....Michael Phelps is the GREATEST EVER!!...THAT RELAY...SO NOW WE GOT 8 GOLDS BABY!!!!....I cudn't even sit down 2 watch the race..LOL....HE'S SOOOOOOOOOOOOO COOOL!!!....inspite of the slightly retarded loook...but that's beside the point!!!..Yup and Mr.Ian Thorpe was in the stands...S***P...HE DIN C DAT ONE COMIN... DIN THINK MY BOY CUD DO IT...BUT HE SHOWED HIM!!!

so last nite I wuz 2 exhausted to watch Phelp's 7 th race and fell asleep..but I watched a replay of that 100 meter butterfly and oh boy!!! wut a race!!!..that wuz soooooo close!!!...oye 2 my naked eye and I guess everyone else's...the serbian, Cavic had that race won but some way, some how...phelp's touched the wall first..according to the wall sensors thingies..and won by o.o1....soo cool!!!.....and when the cameras showed his mom, she too thought he had placed second and when she realized....the expression on her face was priceless....my eyes filled on that...that guy is soooo awesome....so he ties mark spitz's record...& gets his 1,000,000 dollar bonus from speedo for doing that...lucky guy....:|:|...so 2nite we're going for medal #8!! and it's in a race that the US hasn't lost for some time...the 400 meter medley relay...I hope I can stay up 2 c it!!

Also..Nadal going for that gold medal...I wanna c that 2!!!...for sumone who cant play one sport I sure love watching them!!

Tyson Gay failed to qualify for the 100 m dash...after all the hype that wuz made about him...soo saddd...eh

so yesterday milly left..went 2 say my goodbyes on the airport....I'm soo gonna miss her!!...I'm not gonna claim dat we're besties cuz we aren't. But she's one of my favorite girls....or "girlies" as she likes 2 say!!...while I wuz there I learnt that another one of my good frenz was here...w.h.....I ddn't even know that she wuz...thankfully I spotted her...one of the greatest people I'll ever know in this life!!

Watching sum pics of FB i realized that C.B.S. is here!!...there's no way i'm gonna c her..cuz i wuz told that she's only here for 4 days!!...choops...and she's leavin 2morro...:(:(...dats one of the reasons why i miss convent I cud've seen my girls whenever I wanted!!

ANYWAY...Michael Phelps won his 6th gold medal last night!!...so awesome man!!!....He had this really massive lead...he's the only american I'm rooting for...I really hope he does well in his final singles event 2nite so he can tie mark spitz's record!!

Rafael Nadal beat Djokovic...YAY!!..and plays for the gold medal against chilean Fernando Gonzalez on Sunday..I really wanna c dat match but sometimes the American stations don't play the events if an american isn't participating..they're soooo biased!!!

Today I spent the day with one of my best girls Z.C....it's been since I've had soo much fun!!!....A great day in choiseul...I love that girl!!...& I realized that lucia is a really small place..it's like everywhere u go u meet someone that you know!!...people u'd never expect 2 c!!!

Michael Phelps Has Done It Again!!

So isn't he like the best swimmer ever!!!!....I am sooo rooting for him 2 break Mark Spitz's record...he's not your average goodlooking guy...but my oh my...he does look good!!!...that long torso...those low underwear thingies that he wears...and oh yeah the vampire teeth..gorgeous!!!...ok imma stop drooling!!! but oh la la!!!



Last night he got 2 more gold medals in the 200 meter butterfly and then the 4x200 meter freestyle relay...the first one wuz soo awesome...that guy is sooo fast!!....but didn't see the second one I had 2 sleep:(:(....So he's now the greatest olympian of all time with the most medals won overall....so now we're aiming for spitz's record...all the best!!

Just something one of my girliez emailed 2 me..kinna sappy but... it's a POSITIVE "WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND"

WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND
One day a man saw a old lady, stranded on the side of the road, but even in the dim light of day, he could see she needed help. So he pulled up in front of her Mercedes and got out. His Pontiac was still sputtering when he approached her.
Even with the smile on his face, she was worried. No one had stopped to help for the last hour or so. Was he going to hurt her? He didn't look safe; he looked poor and hungry.

He could see that she was frightened, standing out there in the cold. He knew how she felt. It was that chill which only fear can put in you.

He said, 'I'm here to help you, ma'am. Why don't you wait in the car where it's warm? By the way, my name is Bryan Anderson.'

Well, all she had was a flat tire,
but for an old lady, that was bad enough. Bryan crawled under the car looking for a place to put the jack, skinning his knuckles a time or two. Soon he was able to change the tire. But he had to get dirty and his hands hurt.

As he was tightening up the lug nuts, she rolled down the window and began to talk to him. She told him that she was from St. Louis and was only just passing through. She couldn't thank him enough for coming to her aid.

Bryan just smiled as he closed her trunk. The lady asked how much she owed him. Any amount would have been all right with her. She already imagined all the awful things that could have happened had he not stopped.
Bryan never thought twice about being paid.
This was not a job to him. This was helping someone in need, and God knows there were plenty, who had given him a hand in the past. He had lived his whole life that way, and it never occurred to him to act any other way.

He told her that if she really wanted to pay him back, the next time she saw someone who needed help, she could give that person the assistance they needed, and Bryan added, 'And think of me..'

He waited until she started her car and drove off. It had been a cold and depressing day, but he felt good as he headed for home, disappearing into the twilight.
A few miles down the road the lady saw a small cafe. She went in to grab a bite to eat, and take the chill off before she made the last leg of her trip home. It was a dingy looking restaurant. Outside were two old gas pumps. The whole scene was unfamiliar to her. The waitress came over and brought a clean towel to wipe her wet hair. She had a sweet smile, one that even being on her
feet for the whole day couldn't erase. The lady noticed the waitress was nearly eight months pregnant, but she never let the strain and aches change her attitude. The old lady wondered how someone who had so little could be so giving to a stranger. Then she remembered Bryan .

After the lady finished her meal, she paid with a hundred dollar bill. The waitress quickly went to get change for her hundred dollar bill, but the old lady had slipped right out the door. She was gone by the time the waitress came back. The waitress wondered where the lady could be. Then she noticed something written on the napkin.

There were tears in her eyes when she read what the lady wrote: 'You don't owe me anything. I have been there too. Somebody once helped me out, the way I'm helping you. If you really want to pay me back, here is what you do: Do not let this chain of love end with you.'

Under the napkin were four more $100 bills.

Well, there were tables toclear, sugar bowls to fill, and people to serve, but the waitress made it through another day. That night when she got home from work and climbed into bed, she was thinking about the money and what the lady had written. How could the lady have known how much she and her husband needed it? With the baby due next month, it was going to be hard....

She knew how worried her husband was, and as he lay sleeping next to her, she gave him a soft kiss and whispered soft and low, 'Everything's going to be all right. I love you, Bryan Anderson.'

Olympics

Last night I was watching the opening ceremony of the beijing olympics...cause I had nothing better to do on a friday night and well was kinna sick of the internet...I absolutely loved the parade of nations..there were some countries that I hadn't even heard of!!.and the patterns and colours of their attire!!...I really wanted to see St. Lucia especially Danielle Beaubrun..I really hope she does well but St. Lucia passed whilst NBC went for their commercial break...choops....at least there's a pic of them at the back of the voice newspaper..I'm pulling for Leverne Spencer too in the high jump. Also for the rest of the region it would be nice if some of the other islands would bring some medals back to the region.

I really looking forward to the 100m race..promises 2 b a hot one..with tyson gaye and the two guys from jamaica..I think it's bolt and someone else


I want Spain to get some medals as well. This feat will really magnify the alredy awesome year that they are having for sports in 2008..

Hearing

ok so i know that i have this major hearing problem for like a year and a half now but i haven't gone 2 the doctor...I'm hoping that it goes away all on its own...yet..when my family speaks 2 me sumtimes i have 2 b like "uh?..wut u say? pardon?"....lol..and for other people 2..*sigh*...when ppl talk 2 me on the street..I say "uh huh' or "no" or "I don't know" and hope that I'm giving the right answer....sumtimes it comes in handy so I won't hear the shit that dem fellas on the road have 2 tell me...but on the other hand what if i don't give the right answer??....wut if i say yes when if i cud hear properly i wud say no?? shit mun....one day I'm gonna get myself in some serious roro/ trouble bcuz of that...lol..i hope my hearing comes back b4 then..I sooo seen 2 get my ears checked!!!

Gros Piton Vibe

Sooo yeahh...I climbed gros piton yesterday baby!!!...Friday August 1st, 2008....wut a trip that wuz!!...so we were supposed 2 leave like 8:30a.m. but alas being typical lucians, it didn't happen that way. I spent nearly 2 hrs in the gap waitin....choops...i absolutely hate waitin 4 ppl!!!...apparently the designated driver, O....wuz in la ressource fixin music 4 the van..mind u when he picked up everybody the music still wasnt fixed...so i eh no wut he wuz doin all that time!!

So after getting gas..then buying ice..then collecting a bigger cooler since da one we had wuz wayyyy 2 small...and going back 4 more ice ..we were finally off...LOL...mind 2 guys ended up sittin on the cooler for the drive...ONLY IN LUCIA...and they were quite happy mind u!!!...we still had 2 make 2 more stops...all this time it's getting later...*sigh*...but nobody wuz 2 perturbed...we got 2 choiseul..da driver, O passes the gap 2 go 2 da gros piton trail and has 2 turn back..*sigh*...all this wuz taking up time...

we finally get 2 the place...like 2 1/2 hours after we were supposed 2 get there....apparently we were supposed 2 get there 4 10:00 a.m. that's the time the ppl in derisseauxx were being picked up..now that's sum serious LUCIAN TIME for u.

so by the time everybody changes and money is collected, it's 12:40 or so....then we get 2 da booth, there's a tour guide there but she's saying that she forfeits, she's finished working...so she cah go with us...she have 2 go green synergy.. r u serious?!?!?!....pure shate i tell u!!...and all t he rest of the tour guides r on the piton already....and its 2 hrs 2 go up and 2 to go down..so wut 2 do?!?!...da fellas being how they r..done getting ignorant alredy...saying how much a tings..so the lady returned our money and said we can do it but we are doing so at our own risk....the same fellas who were quarrellin just 2 mins b4 were quite in a hurry 2 go up the piton bcuz they get a freeness..lucians again...*rolls eyes*...

so we started up..it's wuz aight...then it got really messed up..endless rocks n ting....am like wtf!!...and i started 2 burn...bad...+ i wuz alredy sore from my "workout" the same morning and day b4...then we got 2 a lookout where we had this greatest awesome-est view of petit piton!!..and it wuz all worth it



..then we got a lil further...A is tellin me that wuz just the halfway point..I wuz like wtf???...my legs were so heavy then..I jus wanted 2 charge them 2 a tree....so after much climbin..and burnin and rain and sweat..we made it 2 the top..most of the girls were down 2 their bikini tops or bras...cuz it wuz sooo humid!!!....it wuz soooo freaking cold n foggy!!!...then it started 2 rain..messed up again...so we started down gros piton in the pouring rain..soaked all da way down 2 our shoes....but i thought of the food and drink dat wuz waitin 4 me when i got 2 da bottom and that gave me da energy..that and welll a sip of smirnoff black ice n GO AHEAD....AHAHA...it took less time going down and it wuz funny..i think i wuz gettin hysterical cuz i laffin at almost everything da guys said...4 of the fellas were way ahead so they got 2 da bottom long b4 us....but when we got der..THANK GOD!!!...i have never been so happy 2 b on ground level in my life....when i looked up and i saw wut i had just climbed...WOW!!...

so we went 2 eat by laborie beach.....like 45 mins later...we took ages 2 get 2 each destination..it's no joke...singing along 2 songs and all type ah shit and with a crazy ass, shit talking driver..good stuff!!...so we ate..da guys played a lil football...the beach wuz sooo warm after 6 in the evening that wuz cool + N told me dat the salt water is good 4 da cramps so ....kinna paparazzi ting....ppl taking mad pics...posin, winin, with shades...how much shit...dem ppl know how 2 have FUN!!

so we left laborie like after 7..I thought we just going 2 drop of the cooler but awa...O wanted 2 clean the whole van then n there...the fellas finally discovered D's goldenapple juice and it wuz an instant hit..and everybody deh by da road in la ressource wit a glass in deh hand u swear is a shot of crystal they have in it...*sigh*...evrytime i thought we were headin home we made a stop...ONE WUZ JUST SO A cud go check his woman.. r u serious???...then i'm like we're finally done...then O swerves 2 go by da stadium WHY?...to take more pics.....but it wuz really cool...finally home!!...@ 9:20p.m.

mama i rel type deh e....but it wuz a day well spent...long time since i've had such great fun!!!
and i wuz happy 2 b a part of teens having fun without rum....hold up i'm not gonna get all self-righteous about the whole rum issue...but it seems 2 b the norm these days abnd although rum makes things nicer, funnier, sillier,better..it wuz uh..refreshing 2 c that u dont need alcohol 2 have a good time

will i do it again?...yesterday i said i wudnt...but today i say maybe..with the right ppl..right vibes..maybe

Workout!!

So this morning I'm on my merry way around the stadium, doing my workout and stuff...then a mun just bahway me...lol...that's the best way 2 put it...telling me about the fat on my belly and if I do situps...I'm like no...and he's like well u need to...cuz u not breathing properly u have too much fat...as if i din no dat already...no need to rub it in:(:(....u check??....he made me change the way i ran up the steps 2!!...lol...but the man knew wut he wuz talking about ..when i finished my round..the man done take mat and all...and gave me the workout of my life!!!....sit ups and all kinna leg exercises.....1/4 way thru i realized how feb i wuz...*sigh*....so i guess wut i've been doin is just the tip of the iceberg....he told me 2 come 2morro..i'll go u know...even if it's a holiday...maybe if i do these killer exercises i might actually tone up my mid-section but i soooooo hate doing crunches-situps-pushups..I hate ab exercises IN GENERAL...but maybe if i have sumone 2 push me i might continue with it....but i still freaking out at the way he just approached me and started giving me orders and giving me dem hards tings 2 do!!
