last few weeks

here I am..watching the second hour of dancing with the stars. During the first hour I was watching Gossip Girl which is the best show on television!.Now I got the past 2 episodes of Grey's Anatomy to watch. I think I watch too much tv!..Well I think I take to long between posts. That's probably why I always typing a whole story! Hopefully after exams or when I get my act together I can start posting more regularly!!

So after Margarita...things are back to normal.. Just reminiscing from time to time about this trip. T's mom did a surprise party for her a week after her bday. I loved seeing the expression on her face when she saw all of us there. It was priceless!!.. & the pics!..Although I think people laughed more at Mr. Baderinwa's pics than Tamiko's!..

It's about four weeks till my bday, four weeks till the year twos are sent home to study. And I'm not where I need to be in my studying. All I do is sleeping & procrastinate and sleep some more. I think that my body is really tired. I have to get my shit together quick, fast & in a hurry

Now I'm contemplating going to cricket. I've never been. I want the experience and to see the guys in the flesh!..BUT THE DINERO..sometimes I wish I was already working. *sigh* decisions!

margarita trip- 2nd time round

It's amazing that I update this blog every month and then end up writing a whole long story about what I've been up to when I could just do little ones as I go along. I wanna do a really professional blog looking one like the rest of you talented people but I don't know where to start. I don't even think I have the time to start, since I barely make time to post...hmph

So the margarita trip was absolutely AMAZING!!!..boy we were trusted by our lecturers and didn't have so many restrictions like when we went with convent 2 years ago. But seriously these convent girls had it the hardest ever, putting tape on the children doors, sending them to bed at 10:00 p.m. :|:|..why?! when some of these girls go clubbing like big women already?!..there was no dinner or going out on the last night either..the children just dressed up and took pics around the pool..that was really mean..soo very sad. The college boys were a similar sad storybut they brought it on themselves though..I think they were on punishment for the latter part of the trip..*sigh* that was one of the biggest hustles I've ever seen!!

So this time, the International School went with Senora G, we didn't pay much attention to them. We were the big people on our own heights. :)..So the plane was delayed when we had to leave but not as bad as da last time. We arrived in Margarita like after 6 and the hotel like after 7 I think. It was unpack, dinner then out!.. Right away...nah waste time...So we went to Senor Frogs, well some of us the party freaks...it was like a techno club with all the crazy lightinh.. It was a first for me..Now that I think about it, I had a lot of "firsts"..first shot of tequila @ the club and when the woman was done throwin it down my throat,she held my face and blew a whistle in it...it was really fun..then everyone wanted to follow!!..LOL

That was thursday night, Friday was shopping..it was quite amazing even better than last time. + there were only 2 boys..they kinna served as a our big brothers..we went to Venezuela on Saturday, to a part named Puerto La Cruz via a ferry..I can say that I touched Chavez's land..but it was kinna boring..after we had to wake up all 3 a.m. tp catch that ferry choops..there I got my first manicure n pedicure..the Senorita really cleaned all the nooks and crannies. lol.. Sunday was flea market then water park.. I didn't go on any of these rides since I'm a big coward lol..EVERYONE dressed up that nite 2 go out.endless dressing and hairstyle boy..I had make up n ting like the night before..another first..but the taxi drivers knew that everywhere was closed but they took us anywhere..so here we are bien dressed going all over margarita..everywhere is closed and the drivers are just making their bill..well they pulled a fast one on us..I guess they really needed the money.. :D:D..so second night in a row I dress up n put make up for nothing!!!..choops..but I dont think dat night was TOTALLY wasted..hehe

Monday was last minute shopping..thank God we had extra time for that..since we didn't have the same itinerary like the other 3 schools..Monday we had a our lil get together in one of the rooms. That was mad funny..madd sic...these kids are crazee...but my lips are zealed...when i rel check it..we teenagers are guarding a lot of secrets..nothing to bad ..I THINK:P

But I enjoyed myself so much n didn't want to leave!!..I love the way that we were trusted..I mean come on we're big ppl..the way the 2 guys were able to co-exist in the end..I thought there would have been so much tension..that really touched me..The way everyone came together, the 18 students were like a little family. The way mostly everyone was down for anything..lol..good times//Sometimes I think of all the memories, the good times...they make me smile n laff n jus shake my head. Man I took so many pics.. I loved taking pics of everyone..ended up with 6 albums=6 days..Mind u the camera had a chak..broken screen..had to use da viewfinder n likkle box..but i think the few of u who've seen da pics..lol prety good huh?..I miss that place soo much..they wanna go back for our 5 year or 10 year reunion.. I eh vex uh..I'm down for anything!!

Passing Through

Hey there!!

Just dropping a line or two here!!..Well the last few weeks involved some mad fundraising for the margarita trip!!...It was such a massive headache but nice too and well worth it in the end. I think we made our target though while making some huge holes in the pockets and purses of lecturers and students alike!! It was very tiring with the carrying stuff up and down, the travelling and keeping up with the assignments! But I survived and for that I'm happy.. I'm feeling well blessed and iree. I hope this mood continues for a long time.
Anyways I'm leaving today!! For anyone who cares lol. I really hope that this time round will be an even more fulfilling and amazing experience than the last one!!..ESPECIALLY SINCE MOST OF US ARE EX SJC GIRLS AND THEREFORE NO LONGER UNDER THE "CONVENT REGIME"..:D:D..

o yeah I finished the twilight series...AMAZING!!...I love stephenie meyer and what she did!!....breaking dawn...was really good!! my favorite part was when Jacob imprinted on renesmee...although some people say that she can't write but I don't care I loved all four books.. I really wish she would finish midnight sun though!!

the past week

just passing through here...last sunday I was ecstatic practically over the moon!!..Rafael Nadal won the Australian Open..woohoo!!!..& federer cried like a baby..poor man...but he's had so much success already!!...besides it's high time that "the experts" and "the pundits" start taking nadal seriously and recognize his talent man!!..I mean COME ON!! he's the NUMBER ONE tennis player in the world!!

Well the past weeks have involved some crazy fundraising for a school trip to margarita...it's been so hard..i can't wait for it to be over!!...btw I thank God for his many blessings..and things have been pretty calm for the time...I've been working on one of my "resolutions"..hopefully i'll start seeing some results soon..*keeping my fingers crossed*...I've been so tired lately and can barely complete assignments...but jah is my co-pilot!!..right now my main concerns are getting to margarita and studying hard for cambridge!!

LONG OVERDUE UPDATE!!!

So someone just attacked me..lol..& told me that I need to update my blog..so here I am..just being delaying it...is all:D
It's been a while since I updated..about 5 weeks roughly..so here goes

A couple of people were here for the xmas vacation..but I didnt get to c half of them...maybe next time...spoke to a couple of them over the phone & online so its all good!!

My christmas was fairly quiet..nun to shout about...it's around that time my zeal for cooking resurfaced!!...baked 2 hams for my uncle..imagine the one for my house was done somewhere else!!...lol...the few weeks following I made banana pie, breadfruit balls & pie, cake, and my other usual stuff...I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed doing these things..hopefully my enthusiasm will stay and hopefully i'll get dinero for ingredients!!..O BOY!! & THE CHAIRMANS!!..but I was not led into temptation..though I was dangerously close!!

New Year was spent with my mommy....lots of food on that day..something else happened that day..but it didn't affect me as much as it had some months before that..midnight mass then a nice quiet day...don't get no better...

2008 for me was a year of revelation, tears, disappointment, maturity, growth, laughs, new experiences..frankly I had fun!!...I lost some friends, became distant with some, forged some strong ones with people who were there all along..and realized that they're quite cool individuals!!

We got a new pc!!..YAY!!...FINALLY!!...& a camera 2!! YAY! AGAIN!! but alas it was not to be..my bro fainted & the internal screen got cracked so u can't see anything..mind you he and his friends had a party and took some really funny. cool pics considering that they couldn't c anything and plus it was at night..so imma do the same...who wanna laff at the camera's defect can go smoke a joint!!

on my last semester at SALCC..then who knows...just workin on doing well at cambridge..although I've started on the WRONG foot...hmph!!..

I've joined the TWILIGHT club..I think Stephenie Meyer is an awesome writer...for me, it's a book with a difference...3 weeks in school on I'm on thee 3rd installment: "ECLIPSE"...though I haven't started it yet..now I wanna see the movie to judge for myself if the movie does the book any justice..

The spanish students are trying to raise funds to go to margarita the weekend after independence...those who went to convent have had the experience but know that it will be even more fulfilling this time around...but it seems like a such a mammoth task!!!..We are hoping to target corporate sponsors and do a raffle but we have yo go through a lot of red tape & protocol..I hope it works out in the end.. To add to that there's some underlying tension which I must say..although a bit selfish, it is quite justified:)

Resolutions:..I kinna made a couple but I don't wanna write or type them next ting I jinx them...maybe later..but this year who knows??..I just hope I stick to them whatever they are!!

I have a lil project coming up...I'm soo nervous...don't wanna say what it is yet though..wish me luck!!

Good Turn & A Lil More

a group of us went to the marian home today...we put some food items and other stuff together and brought it over...we told Mrs. J.A. we wanted to walk but awa she eh hearing...she wanna take the bus from town even if she had to pay for all 8 of us...the driver didnt know where to go...he ended up going all the way to the adelaide home and had to go back...I'm like WTF..haha...you drive that route everyday n u eh know where the marian home is...We went there in form 1 so we knew what we were talking about..then the lady is like...oh we could have walked...but hey being so stubborn so o well...Mr. G came to drop off his contribution and moved out...Well we spent like 1 1/2 hours there...singing carols, laughing and talking with them.. I could see that they really loved our company...sometimes they just want people to listen...and some of them are as fiesty as ever!!..KC was playing destra for one of them if u c the lady move!!!...mind u she has bad knees eh...but she eh hearing..I say that lady was hott in her youth...I heard one called another one a bitch...Another freaked MJ out cause she said she wont have a merry christmas because she's going to die...wow..talk about a WTF OMG moment..But I wanna go back there...it's not something that we should do only during the holiday season.." the season of giving"...but something from time to time...It also made realize that I'm gonna get like some day ..OLD..provided that I don't die young...Scary thoughts...but it was great time spent...

BOY O BOY...lucians say they eh have money but they flooding the streets of castries..you'll c vf on christmas eve...haha...the vacation is a kinna boring n vag..but trying 2 do what I can with it...dunno what the rest of it will bring...still thinking of what might have been this past weekend...my bro messed up his finger..so he's kinna wounded..fallen soldier...haha..with his bandage n ting!!..so dats all..boredom again so I cam here....

Post Exam Lime

So some of my girlfriends and I decided to take a little lime on Saturday night..sort of like a post exam destress vibe..yeah...well most people went to indies to "College Hill. Semester 1. You miss school. You miss out"...Since we did not go I guess we missed out huh?.. So meeting place: Dominos..then off to Delirius...but we were not as lucky as the last time...no free drinks..shucks man!!...then we decided to go to the Triangle..there wuz some karoke going on there..finally B chose a song but then someone mentioned that Pulse had a ladies free before midnight...so being lucians we decided to head there..mind u it wuz like 11:25 p.m. But considering that most of us were wearing heels...it was a good head start no?..So we got there...got stamped...it looked soo cool under the blue light thingy man!!..I saw one of our senators there...I wuz like ok then...one ting Pulse eh attracting no kinna jombie crowd..that's for sure!!..

Sadly so our numbers dwindled from like 13 to 6 or sum so...But we had a great time!!..We decided to head over to indies...En route...I decided to remove my heels..to much of a hassle to walk...much more comfortable barefoot!!....Yeah like the song goes "I'M SO SEXY IN MY HEELS!!"..but uh that distance we had to walk deh...nope!!..Then B pulled out her camera to take a pic of me in the middle of the road holding my heels!!...So I walked all the way to the highway but then put them back on. Outside indies B n K met this mexican guy who looked sorta asian...he thought we were prostitutes !!..asking if we work @ night...oh he's gonna pay for both B & K to enter the fete..but B wuz really freaked out..thank goodness we got rid of him!!...funny shit....so I fetched us a ride back to Pulse..Thank God!!..I don't think anyone fancied walking all the way back there in their sexy shoes.

Back there..saw some vf compre teachers there & later on a minister dancing WITH HIMSELF in the wee hours of the morning. The music was great...nice ambience..Some BOS employees just descended upon the place...Coming from their staff party n ting..lookin all elegant n shit...good 4 them..Here I am thinking...no one will know me there but awa..2 fellas ambushed me self self...askin me 2 dance..all how I try 2 evade them....but i succeeded....more or less..lol..then my tag for the nite left me ALONE at Pulse to go on a vibe..while I was kept company by the generous young man who wuz going to give us a ride back home...someone I knew from school but never talked to b4...well we got acquainted eh...until it wuz time 2 go n my girl wasn't back yet...so I had 2 b blowing up her cell like madd...so she cud get bak...cuz the guy wuz getting impatient and I cudn't leave without her..then her bf is calling my phone n i eh no wut 2 tell him...Boy I hate these situations that I find myself in!!...All in all it was another awesome night...wonder when the next one will be ...

On our way home I saw a man doing some jogging..I wuz like mate mad running so late in the night...when I chek myself I realized that we were the mad ones returning home @ 5 a.m. in the morning!!....lmao

haha...I jus typed a whole story there...sideeffects of boredom!!!
